7.1.1: lost the ability to search a case by number

If I search a case by number (I enter 7890) in the search box,
the new AdvancedOpenDiscovery search says nothing is found.

I click on the link “use standard sugarCRM search”, then the case is found.

Sounds like the field “case_number” is not indexed by AOD.

How do I control which fields are indexed by AOD? ( I am OK with a non-upgradable hack).

I am going to guess on this one that this is because the “case-number” field is of integer type.

That problem is still present in 7.1.3.

Any chance that it will ever get fixed?
