Working folders in manifest.php

I have noticed when exporting modules using Studio and looking at the manifest.php file that is generated there are references to the custom/working folder. But in some of the modules this folder is empty.

Does anyone know what the purpose of the working folder is for?

I am not sure, but I think it is only a temporary thing that studio uses.

Maybe if you search the code for the word “working”, you can check this.
