Workflow to create task every week on Sunday?

I would like to have a task automatically created every week on a specific day, I don’t want to use the recurring calendar feature since it seems to only be for meetings and calls, so isn’t really suited to this purpose.

Can I do this with Workflows?

Currently, Built-in Recurrency is not available in Workflow.
However, something like stated in the post: Here, may be of some assistance to you for creating a recurring task.
