workflow stuck in 'running' status

Hi

We have a workflow to send auto-response when a web-lead form is submitted.
Some of the workflow are still in ‘running’ status. pls see attached image

  1. is it safe to delete the records from db that are in running status? If so , in which table should this be done
  2. If something is in running, does it affect the new records auto-response mail trigger due to this?

This usually indicates that there has been error in the execution somewhere and its either failed to complete the task or failed afterwards and did not update the status. I would check your error logs to try and find out what the issues is.

From which table do we need to delete these running entries? Job_queue or aow_processed?
