Can anyone help with a workflow process…I want when a Lead is converted to Contact(student) a Welcome email is sent out automatically…

Hi altonnya90,

You can perform a workflow to send an email reminder when a Lead has been converted. You cannot currently execute a workflow on a lead that has been converted to a specific value, such as a contact.

So when i fill in Lead detail and then click convert Lead…its sends an email to to converted lead…Is that correct?

Thanks Will. I setup a workflow just like the picture but when i click on a lead name and say convert it doesnt send any email at all. Here is a picture.

You need to tick the box under value. This is so the workflow triggers when the “converted” value = true.

Also, you need to specify an email address next to the email drop down where the email will be sent.

I did the corrections and input an email address. Then i went to my leads…chose one and click convert. But nothing happens

Is your workflow set up correctly? Have you set up your cron jobs/scheduler? Is the scheduler for “Run AOW Workflow” running? Have you set this to run each minute?

After clicking Admin then Scheduler thses are the files i see. i this where i need to setup a schedulers for the workflow to trigger…Will have you got any screen shots of what it should look like…Thanks

Have you set up your crontab which is detailed at the bottom of your screenshot? You are missing the “Run AOW Workflow” scheduler. Did you remove this? Did it exist before? Attached is a screenshot of how it should look/how to set it up.

I haven’t removed any files Run AOW Workflow.Can i install this separate. I urgently need to setup workflow

@altonnya90: The fact that you are missing the “Run AOW Workflow” scheduler job makes me think there is something critically wrong with your installation. However, in the interest of moving forward, try to create a scheduled job as shown in my attachment. For this to work, you should be able to see and select the “Process AOW Workflow” in the Job dropdown.

The other important piece that Will pointed out is your crontab. Please refer to this SugarCRM guide to correctly setup the cron on your server: http://support.sugarcrm.com/02_Documentation/01_Sugar_Editions/01_Sugar_Ultimate/Sugar_Ultimate_6.5/Administration_Guide/05_System/41_Schedulers#Setting_up_Cron_Scheduler

Please note that the apache username referenced in the guide will depend on your system. On my Debian system, it is www-data instead of apache.

Can anyone tell me if you can use Workflow or another element of the system to set a record title?

I would like to set a contract or case title to be: account name [SPACE} date created
and then allow the user to modify them as necessary beyond that.

Hi i have tried everything. I am wondering if i need to do a fresh install. I notice i cannot install the version of suite that i download from this site onlt from github

There should be no difference from the SuiteCRM 7.0.1 on GitHub and that within the downloads section on this website.

If you are performing a fresh install, please follow the SuiteCRM documentation .

never got this sorted. can RUN AOW WORKFLOW be installed seperately
