- another module, the Calls subpanel below
- Calls dashlet on the home screen?

If you just need to organize and separate work, use the “assigned to” mechanism. It works in every module, and the homepage dashlets usually show only “my items”, which means items assigned to the current user.
You can also filter every view to show only those items.
But that doesn’t stop people from seeing other people’s assigned records - so it’s just a practical way of organizing, not a way of having data security.
If you need security, you need to use the Security Groups. It’s more complicated, but very powerful. Check “admin / Security Settings”, “Admin / Roles”, etc.
