After installing suiteCRM - we migrated all our data from SugarCRM - which worked fine
But we have a more critical problem, only “admin” can login to the system
First I thought that it might only be old users (the ones copied from the old sugarCRM) but even even brand new users created in SuiteCRM can not login.
They are craeted without problems, but when trying to login they just get the message:
“You must specify a valid username and password”
Any advise?
Anyone with a suggestion or two, about what to do??

Is the CRM generating passwords and e-mailing them to the Users, or are you manually setting the password for each user?
You can check if you are having the system generate passwords by going to Admin > Password Management.
I have tried both - but the users are still not allowed to login.
When I press “reset PW” - the user get a link
The user can then insert username & new pw.
The second it is done, the user is returned to the login page, where it says “You must specify a valid username and password”

This is something weird, Can you try create another admin user and try login with that ?
Do you have any customization like logic hook before login or something?
I have tried to create a one more admin. It can not login either.
No customization has been done.
