user not assigned to document

Hi,

when i create a document from the subpanel of a record like an account, the corresponding new document doesn’t have a user assigned, it’s blank.

Instead,if the document is created using the full form the user is correctly associated.
Does anyone has the same problem? any idea for the solution?

Hi rossi,

This seems to be standard with SugarCRM. Navigate to Admin -> Studio. Click on Documents on the left then Layouts then Quick Create. Add a new row and then add the ‘Assigned to’ field. Click Save & Deploy. The Assigned To field will now show on the Quick Create form and the document will be assigned to a user.
