In SugarCRM 6.5 CE the “default URL” entered in an “URL field” would populate this field in the edit or detail view.
SuiteCRM 7.9.10 the “default URL” value appears to always be ignored and the “URL field” remains void of a value until an URL is entered in the edit view.
Sorry, but where exactly do you set this default value? In Studio / Module/ Fields ?
I am sorry for not being explicit enough. When in Studio and setting up a field of Data Type URL, there is the ability to set a Default Value for the field. In Sugar CE this default URL would be displayed unless the user chose to edit this default value. In SuiteCRM 7.9.10 this default value seems to be ignored. It is not displayed and the field is always empty until a user edits it and enters an URL.
Please let me know if the above is clear.
