Upgrading from 7.1.4

Hello,

I want to upgrade my version of suitecrm from 7.1.4 to 7.4.3

the question is: I need to update first to 7.1.8, then to 7.3.2 and finally to 7.4.3 ? Or can I update directly to 7.4.3 ??

Hi,

Yes, I believe that upgrading to 7.1.8, then to 7.3.2 and finally to 7.4.3 would be the safest path.

After each upgrade, you may want to set the permissions on your instance again so that they are correct.
You may also want to run a Quick Repair & Rebuild a few times and execute any changes that may appear on the Repair Results screen, (If Any appear).
(Quick Repair & Rebuild can be found in Admin > Repair)

You may also want to take a backup of both your DB and instance before upgrading, just to be safe.
