I want to upgrade SuiteCRM 7.1.7 to SuiteCRM 7.3.1, Someone please guide me how to upgrade the same.

Upgrading is fairly safe and easy, but it still may be worth taking a backup of your Instance beforehand, if you are concerned. You can take a backup of the CRM itself via Admin > backups, but keep in mind that this does not back up your DB.
You can download the Upgrade package here: https://suitecrm.com/download
Ensure that you download the “SuiteCRM Upgrade 7.1.X to 7.3.1” package. It will download as a .zip file. Do not extract the file as it needs to be in the .zip format.
On your CRM, go to Admin > Upgrade Wizard and follow the steps shown.
After the install is complete, Run a few Quick Repair & Rebuilds from Admin > Repair, and run the “Execute” option if shown.
It also may be worth re-setting permissions to ensure they are correct again.
