Upgrade SugarCRM to SuiteCRM without AOS

Hi!

I would like to upgrade from SugarCRM 6.5.16 to SuiteCRM, but because I have many customizations (even not upgrade-safe) I am afraid that I will lose the modifications. How big of an impact does this upgrade create in the core files of the original modules? I would like it not to touch them :smiley:

Also I am worried because I already have the AOS extension module, and that also is very customized. I wouldn’t want for SuiteCRM to overwrite the module. Is there a way to exclude this module from the upgrade? What I do need is actually the Advanced OpenWorkflow module. :slight_smile:

Hi Timea,

In terms of core modifications, most of our modifications in the upgrade are done in custom/in an upgrade-safe manner. For AOS, you would need to modify the upgrade script to not include the AOS module as this would overwrite.
