recent updates went fine, but the upgrade from 7.7. to 7.7.1 stops at uploading the upgrade file with this error message:
[color=#bb0000]The uploaded file is not compatible with this version of PHP:
PHP Version: 5.4.45-0+deb7u4[/color]
Did the requirements change from 7.7 to 7.7.1? Upgrade to 7.7. from version 7.6 went through without any problem.
I use debian standard distribution at Wheezy.

PHP 5.5+ is needed for SuiteCRM to function properly as of documentation here https://suitecrm.com/wiki/index.php/Compatibility_Matrix maybe they added a restriction now to avoid people posting bugs regarding wrong php version on their systems

ok, just upgraded to php 5.5 and it works fine, thank you.
Trouble ist debian Wheezy is quite well known and we have not updated much machines to Jessy - so the 5.5 update is a step leaving the default distribution.
When we started with SuiteCRM one year ago with php 5.4 was still fine and I never had any problems with it.
I would hope that such restriction changes would find their way into the release notes please :cheer:
