Unsuccessful backup of application files

Hi guys,

I have a strange problem. I 've been running my backups every month or so, doing it manually. now all of a sudden when I go to do the application backup … i get the message :

Backup successfully stored as /var/www/html/SUITESYSBACKUPS/04142017.zip ( bytes)

And i go to the directory, and nothing is there.

Ive looked high and low on this forum, and only saw one post unresolved 2.5 yrs ago. Has anyone encountered this before? Any suggestions?

Sugar Version 6.5.20 (Build 1001)
Running on CentOS 6.5

Have you checked your logs? suitecrm.log and php_errors.log

You should have a message there, at the same time when you try the backup, with some reason for failure.

Sorry, Ive been out under the weather… I will check the logs and see.
