I dont know how to change ownership of the folder to apache with a regular webserver with cpanel and it is driving me nuts. Please Help.
You probably can’t make that change. Contact hosting support to have then do it.
But WHY would you want to do that? It is much less hassle to let Apache read and write files as you, not ‘nobody’ which is usually the default.
Many hosts are using what is called ‘fast-cgi’ these days which lets Apache run as a user. Much fewer update hassles that way.
