Text size limits in Note field in Notes?

SuiteCRM 7.9.6 running on 1and1.com linux shared host environment. We’ve been using SuiteCRM for a national project and logging notes for each meeting. Up to now, this has worked fine but today we came across what appears to be a size limit on text in the Note field in the Notes module. A very lengthy email exchange was copied and pasted into the field and it refused to save. Is there a size limit on text in the Notes field? I trawled the documentation and forums and couldn’t find anything. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lee.

It will save 65535 characters by default.
What if you attach the email text in a file with the short note description

Thank you for this. I can certainly produce a file and attach to the Note, or produce two notes sequentially, but do you know if there is any way to increase this character limit in the field as a third option?

We have just ran into the same problem. Did you ever find a solution for increasing the default Note size?
