Is it verified to work with the latest version of SugarCRM CE? Have you set the correct permissions on your instance after installation?

would I need to manually update permissions, they tell me to run 2 repair scripts (quick rebuild an repair as well as rebuilding JS Cache)

Do you get any errors in the console ? do they point at what the error is ?
