7.0.1 - I have not tried it with 7.0.2 yet but that version is now live on our servers and I will have the sales manager give it a go and see if it still has issues.
iOS 7 but I know it happened on iOS 6 as well. I don’t have specific version numbers but the user that is using it stays current on his build versions.
I believe it is any pulldown menu in the search field of the template. I just have had support tickets for the opportunities submitted to me specifically because they use that the most right now.
I am verifying this however since I don’t use iOS myself.
It has been reported to me in just Safari the default browser.
I am going to load up safari for PC here and see if it has the same issue… as well as test it on my MAC… I don’t use Safari normally on the Mac… firefox works better…
Not an issue on the standard CE theme
We are running the Modern Aqua theme as well… but it has issues with all the modules displaying correctly as it is left column menu based and the module list is so long for admins it gets cut off.
Got my hands on an iPad a little this AM to check into this issue closer. Here is exactly what is going on… This Actually only impacts the Opportunities module and none of the other.
But on the iPad the search button does nothing. Doesn’t matter what you select… Normally you would get a blue bar that crosses the top of safari showing the page is loading. You don’t get that bar after pressing search. So users press the search button again and the Safari browser will crash. So basically searching in Opportunities doesn’t work at all.
This is only on the Opportunities Module Search button. All other modules are fine. I did not check on other browsers on iPad because our users do not use other browsers.
Hopes this helps to target the issue with the theme.
Chad, can you get me a link to the them you are using. Our sales force use iPads exclusively in the field and we are having several of the same issues.
