Windows 8.1 Update 1, Outlook 2013.

When trying to setup the settings when I press test I get object reference not set to an instance of an object. Outlook then crashes.

After installing the plugin release 6 and opening outlook 2013 32 bit on a windows 8.1 machine, the plugin settings page keeps opening. I am unable to fill in any credentials, after having 100 instances of the settings page running I force outlook to close.

Every time I try to send an email reply it causes outlook to close and restart.
It puts the reply in the drafts folder.
Then if you send from drafts it goes no problem.

problem configuring outlook plugin-- outlook 2010 on windows 7

great to be part of the beta for this - I am a google man but need to be equally aware of the ms options for my clients.

  1. when i installed outloook to install the plugin the settings dialogue box popped up and i could not keep my cursor in the url bar to enter - it kept going between the focus being on outlook main window back to the settings window and so on — it may be that this was a new account setup and may have been downloading messages at the same time – also i think that i installed the plugin while outlook was open – when i quit outlook and reopened the settings config - i was able to connect

may be an idea for force closure of outlook during install??

  1. i created a task and did a right click on the task and selected suitecrm from the contextual menu and got an error

Release6, Outlook 2013 (32-bit), Win 7 Home Premium (x64) Service Pack 1, SuiteCRM version 7.1.0 (with some customizations)

  1. I’m in the same boat as Musi re: the Log directory (does not exist)
  2. Not important, but a typo in Settings > Archive tab. Under search, “Maximun” should read: “Maximum”
  3. After selecting an email and clicking the Archive button on the ribbon (and after right-clicking the email and selecting SuiteCRM Archive), I get the following unhandled exception:

I had the issue with the log directory not working on Outlook 2007 on a Windows 7 64bit system as well. However, after closing and reopening Outlook this error went away.

I think it was caused because Outlook was running during the install. I would suggest on the Plug-In installer you check for Outlook to be running and either close it or prompt the user to close it.

I will be testing the install on a Windows 8.1 pro install with office 2010 shortly.

I had no issues remove, and installing release6 on W8.1pro 64bit with Office 2010. Settings where still there and I Was able to archive with no issues.

The settings windows does take a little bit of time to load.
The Archive button opened the window fine and didn’t seem to take to long.

I will monitor for outlook crashes.

I am trying to get the plugin compiled and running.
I see you are using AddIn.Express a commercial software to develop this AddIn or is there a free version you are using?
Because I couldn’t find any.

Do you know why this is so strongly being blocked by Virus Scanners. Even Google Chrome required me to override security just to download the file

I installed without a problem. However when I try to login I get a 404 Error. Page not found

Only one crash so far I was moving a forwarded email into another folder crashed outlook 2010- Outlook restarted and was able to move email with no issues.

Hello Team,

I am not able to use plugin in my computer i am using Windows 8.1 64 bit, Outlook 2013,

Whenever I am trying to connect any Url from my outlook i am getting following error

The remote Server returned an error 404 not found, I used this for my localhost instance and also suitecrm demo url

Please put a “/” in the end of the URL. That is the problem. This will be fixed in the next release.

I am able to use Outlook Plugin Now

When I am archiving any email to My SuiteCRM I am getting Status as archived but i am not getting assigned_user_id
similar when I am sending any mail then it is displaying in Subpanel of contact but without status and assigned user id
