SuiteCRM - Incoming email not working

Hi,

I really need a direction.

Emails sending/receiving Phone/Mozilla Thunderbird works. Send mail via SMTP from Suite CRM is working.

Only incoming mail via IMAP wont work. my mail server, wordpress,suitecrm is in same websver.

SuiteCRM : Version 7.2.1 Sugar Version 6.5.20 (Build 1001
PHP Version 5.4.16

IMAP c-Client Version 2007f
SSL Support enabled
Kerberos Support enabled

You wrote “my mailserver is on the same server” - does this mean you own the IMAP server as well?

If so can you try to change the setting in your IMAP server for the passwords how they are received by the IMAP server - either ENCRYPTED or NORMAL - and try BOTH settings - but restart the imap server every time.

This is how Thunderbird is working. Can we not replicate the same ? worried if I change to encrypted password other client may stop working.

Anyway I am going to try the encrypted option shortly
