Hi ,
I need some urgent help on Quotes line items, where I have created custom fields called MSP in line items and need those fields read-only for a specific role.

Can anyone help…

Hello Rohit,

I remember using an extension on Suite 7 for field specific permissions.
Since the line items are somewhat special in the quotes (with JS, “special” mapping module) I’m not sure whether an extension would work as well.

But I guess you could give it a try / contact the vendor via the marketplace.

Thanks for your suggestion, just tried the same, but the plugin won’t work for line items.

Maybe try to connect the developers and see whether they can “fix” it.
Basically, that sounds a bit like a gap in the concept to me - I technically understand why, but feature wise it looks like a bug.
