Hi. We had a SugarCRM installation on our webserver (v6.5.2 CE). I downloaded the upgrade file and everything seemed to go smoothly. However, I cannot access the upgrade wizard anymore. I feel like the upgrade did not complete.
I created another tesbed for suite crm and installed a fresh copy of 7.16MAX. I created a new database and dumped my current suitecrm data into it. I know cache records should be reset, and uploads will be lost, but that’s not really a big deal.
Everything seems to work properly in this clean installation, except one thing; the mail.
The mail section just seems buggy. I keep seeing ‘Warning: Missing username and password for outgoing mail account.’ I navigate to my mail settings and (low and behold) the information is provided clearly. This message appears whenever I try to compose a new email.
In the ‘To’ field of the email, I have two options ‘my_email@my_doma.com’ and ‘my_email@mydoma.com - My Settings’. Why does it create two accounts? I have also tried erasing my email and re-creating it with no success.
I am stuck on 7.1 on my upgraded from sugarCRM CE (because now the upgrade wizard is blank), and I have 7.2 on the version where I manually migrated database to fresh copy of suite crm.
Anyways. If you have information about these problems, I would be happy to listen. However, a more simple solution would be to help me with the following; Find a way to import our data from sugar crm 6.5.2 with no issues. I feel the migration process did not complete when I did 6.5.2 -> 7.1suitecrm, so I feel it’s possible some of the data did not get converted/moved to new db. I don’t know.
Should I try the migration again using the silent upgrader (assuming this tool is still available? I remember using it a lot for upgrading sugar). Yes, we do have tables over 10k items (max is 65k i think in one table).
Thanks!
