SugarApplication::appendErrorMessage("<script>alert('Caution : Test');</script>"); is not working through view.detail.php file in suitecrm 8.8.0 version

Hi,

after upgradation from my suitecrm 7.10.9 to 8.8.0 one of my alert boxis not working through public\legacy\custom\modules\so_Customers\views\view.detail.php:-
SugarApplication::appendErrorMessage(ā€œalert(ā€˜Caution : Testā€™);ā€);

in 7 it was worked now it is not. any new way to implement this ? this worked n 7 when we open one records detail page from list page..
