Studio: unable to drag field into layouts

I can replace an existing field, but I can’t add a new field from the toolbox into the layout. I’ve tried “quick repair and rebuild”, and I have tried firefox and chrome on linux, and safari, firefox and chrome on Mac.

What is wrong? I recently changed a couple labels and field names.

Any quick fixes?

I noticed that I need to upgrade my PHP:

Minimum PHP Version 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.19. The recommended php version is 7.0.0 or above.

Version 7.8.5

Sugar Version 6.5.24 (Build 509)

Solved! Just needed to click the “New Row” button in the Tools panels. Duh…

Actually I fixed it initially by directly editing ‘custom/modules/Contacts/metadata/editviewdefs.php’. Effective but probably not recommended. :slight_smile:

Then I went back and played around with the Studio GUI until I learned how it works.
