Smtp connection failed error with valid credentials

Using suitecrm 7.9.1

When tried to send a test email using valid smtp details,
facing ‘smtp connection failed error’.

Using ‘other’ option for the email provider .

Tried with ssl n tls… and tried many ways but facing the same connection failed error .

Any suggestions help please …

There was a bug that the credentials didn’t get saved correctly. So you would try the test, and the email would work fine, but then save the credentials and it would no longer work.

I think (not sure, though) this is fixed in 7.9.4.
