Sending a unnecessary "winmail.dat"

Dear Team,

This is an issue, when i sending a email through CRM, Outlook sending a unnecessary “winmail.dat” file automatically as attachment.

Please help how to prevent.

Hi anjumbiotech,

The “winmail.dat” file is attached to the email because the original sender is sending emails in Microsoft Outlook Rich Text Format instead of Plain Text format. To prevent the winmail.dat from being included the sender will need to disable RTF from within Outlook before sending the mail.
