Running SuiteCRM in the same MySQL as Wordpress

n00b question… and I’ve been searching forums and not finding the answer.

Is there any reason why I can’t/shouldn’t run SuiteCRM in the same MySQL as Wordpress (or another frontend CMS like it)? I’m wanting to tightly integrate the two and just noticed SuiteCRM wipes out all existing tables of a DB on install. Wasn’t sure if there’s a reason for that or not.

Hi Sid,

You will be able to run them side by side, but may need to move the tables into the WP database, or vice versa. I believe wordpress prefixes the tables so there should never be a conflict.
