Roles question

Hello,

When I look over roles, it seems ot be something that lets you allow or disallow access to certain modules. Is my understanding correct?

If it is, I am trying to something different, but still assign access to certain parts of the system.

Is there a way to allow or disallow access to certain leads, contacts or accounts to certain users?

Hi Joseph,

The answer lies in security groups. You assign “group” access for Leads, Contacts and Accounts to a role and assign that role to a user. Then you add your Lead, Contact or Account to the security group to give the user access just to them.
