Reply a Email in a Case & Email Template variables don't word

Hi,

is there a way to reply an Email in the case of the email?

If I add variables like $contact_name to my templates they don’t look for the name from that contact. They just send the variable name. Do I something wrong?

Your SuiteCRM version?

Which email editor are you using? Are in SuiteCRM’s email module?

I’m using the standard email editor given by suitecrm.

Thats one of my problems. But there is no real solution for that.
