Relationship between Call and Contact

I am very much a complete beginner when it comes to SuiteCRM and I would like to be able to create a relationship between Calls and Contacts so that, when a call is logged via an Account, I can also add and link the Contact to that call so that the call will also show up when you go to that Contact. I have tried to do this using a Relate field but, although it does allow me to add the Contact to the call, it does not seem to link properly and the call does not show up on the contact. Also, when I show the list of calls, the Contact does not show here either. The only way that I have gotten around this is by logging a call via the Contact, rather than the Account.

In Accounts page, when you click log a Call: the new call will automatically be Related to that Account: and at te bottom of the call you can search to add the contact you wish (use ‘Full Form’ first to get to the …er… full form! where you can add contacts

Whereas if you start in Contact page, create a call there will mean it automatically has the contact in place; but the Related_To may need to be set. Although if the contact was already set to an account, that Account should auto-fill the Related_To.
