Quotes without products from catalogs

From what I found on other foruns, I know this function is available on the sugarcrm professional edition but I want to know if is available on suitecrm, wich is adding product manually to a quote without that product being previously added on the products section.

Currently,when I need to quickly add a non-defined product to a quote/invoice, I Select “Service Line” from the “Add Group” item to an invoice. Though it does not have all relevant fields Product ID etc, it suffices.

If however, you want to be able to define a new product in-situ without leaving the create invoice/quote module. I have not found it as of yet.

This feature is not currently part of AOS and does not have the feature that is in SugarCRM Pro.

Strange, the overview in this page http://support.sugarcrm.com/02_Documentation/01_Sugar_Editions/04_Sugar_Professional/Sugar_Professional_6.7/Application_Guide/15_Quotes#Creating_Quotes gives that impression, but I suppose that they can be talking about the Service Line.

I still testing suitecrm, and the service line seems to enough for most part but the product line does have a few more fields that can be useful. Is there any plans to add function like this ?
