I just tried replicating this but in my 8.4.2 it works as designedā€¦ :man_shrugging:

I used the public/legacy/custom/include/language/en_us.lang.php as given above, and my quote includes the vat.

For reference, this is getting interpreted here:

which in turn calls the translate function and eventually reached this array lookup:

But I canā€™t fix it if it isnā€™t broken (for me)ā€¦

Well Iā€™m wondering if this is some 8.4.1 ā†’ 8.4.2 fix.
The user that also reported the same problem mentioned heā€™s on v7.X.Y

I am unable to update due to this problem:

After upgrading to 8.4.2 I simply canā€™t login to SuiteCRM.

So until a confirmation that it has been fixed, canā€™t test with 8.4.2.

You can try testing on the online v8 demo, thatā€™s probably 8.4.2
