Product list is blank, as in no text, links, column headers or anything.

Hello,

On the page that lists all of my Products, normally it would show all of the normal columns (name, product #, category, etc.) however it no longer does this. Page image attached.

This started months ago and our office was tied up that we could not address this issue. Slow season now…

Developer Tools in Firefox under Console shows this error:
Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user’s experience. For more help http://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/ sugar_grp1_yui.js:16:3050

Troubleshooting steps I followed in this order:
Quick Repair and Rebuild
http://support.sugarcrm.com/Knowledge_Base/Troubleshooting/Troubleshooting_Blank_Pages_or_Partial_Page_Loads/ - the javascript troubleshooting section
– Used Firefox Developer Tools, under Console, to identify the Javascript error and offending file
– SSH’d into the server and renamed the offending file
– Refreshed the Products page; still came up blank
– Verified the offending file was recreated by the system and still has the same error

I ran a bunch of rebuilds after the above, admittedly not sure if these are relevant
Rebuild Relationships
Rebuild Javascript Languages
Rebuild JS Grouping Files
Repair JS Files
Rebuild Config File

Then I ran the Diagnostic Tool and have all of that ready. I went through them but am not sure what I am looking for.
I am currently copying the entire install and db to create a test environment for any possible upgrades.

Any ideas? Thank you.

Two things you can do to check if it comes back to normal. First, click on the column chooser button (button with 3 dot and dashes) & change/add more columns to the list view, Save Changes and Refresh Page.
Second you can click on the Filter Button (left of Column Chooser Button) and then in the Search Popup, Click Clear Button and after that Search Button. This might restore the normal list view without any sorting etc.
If these does not bring any results, you can go to Admin -> Studio -> Products -> Layouts -> List View & change column display here.

Thank you for your suggestions. And the last option was the winner! I didn’t think to look there since I never changed or deleted any of the displayed or available columns. I am reminded on how the simplest solution tends to be the best.

To be clear, and for anyone else looking for this solution, when I went into Admin -> Studio -> Products -> Layouts -> List View, there was nothing under displayed or available, as if all were removed. I didn’t remove them, I am the only admin in our office and yet they somehow removed themselves.

Thank you once again, cherub-chum.
