Problems with Schedular

Hi

I am having problems with setting up crontab and getting the Scheduler running.

This is the output from ‘grep CRON /var/log/syslog’

Oct 2 14:34:01 bpeadmin-Dell-XPS430 CRON[3226]: (root) CMD (cd /var/www/html/bpecrm; php -f cron.php > /dev/null 2>&)
Oct 2 14:34:01 bpeadmin-Dell-XPS430 CRON[3225]: (CRON) info (No MTA installed, discarding output)

If I run php from the command line then I get this at the start of a series of errors, however it does tick off on the schedular as to having run.

Here is a break down

Oct 2 14:34:01 bpeadmin-Dell-XPS430 CRON[3226]: (root) CMD (cd /var/www/html/bpecrm; php -f cron.php > /dev/null 2>&)
^ this is a successful run of the cron job

Oct 2 14:34:01 bpeadmin-Dell-XPS430 CRON[3225]: (CRON) info (No MTA installed, discarding output)
^ This tells you there is no Mail Transfer Agent MTA installed. Which means that CRON cannot send any notifications email. Note its info only

The errors when run from the command line are because somewhere the code is calling for SNMP (Simple Netowork Monitoring Protocol ) This is used for diagnostic investigation and reporting, and is not relevant to SuiteCRM.

If you post your cron.php file I am happy to take a look
