We have recently installed SuiteCRM and are working on customising it to fit our needs. I’m a bit unsure about some best practices so I thought I’d post here in case anyone can help.
We are a B2B company, so our potential customers are all Accounts (rather than Contacts). We have many thousands of Accounts imported into SuiteCRM. At the moment, we’ve got different Account types to track them through the sales process.
From time to time, we’d like to do a new sales push, and to do that, we would want to select a bunch of Accounts based on some criteria, and perhaps even set an order of contact, and then give that list to a salesperson to work through. How would we best do that? Is that what Target Lists are for - or would that be a Campaign? In other words, how do we create a list of Accounts?
We tried just assigning Accounts to a particular sales person, but then they all appear in their list with all their other Accounts, and it all seems like a bit of a mess, so I’m wondering if there’s a better way.
