Looking through the documentation, I that there should be a button on the individual modules to print from the PDF templates that have been created. Should this button be on the module or is this something that needs to be manual y coded. If it needs to be manually coded is there some documentation ?

Yes, you would have to modify the module you wish to add the Print PDF button to. There is no documentation, but there is a forum topic detailing some of the steps required to achieve this functionality. See this forum topic.
