Dear all,
i want when generate letter from accounts or contacts the pdf filename to be like date_template name_Account Name or Contact Name
I edit the modules/AOS_PDF_Templates/formLetterPDF.php in version 7.6.4 and all was fine.
In suitecrm v 7.11.1o i added the date but i can not figure out how to add the account or contact name
Any idea?

Welcome back!
If you got to the PDF templates module theres a drop down box which allows for insertions of variable names, used this to get the correct name and try inserting them as you are.
Let me know if you run into any issues.
Unfortunately i am not getting what you mean.
I must go to studio or into the pdf template?

I created the pdf template.
When generate letter i receive yyyymmdd_PDFTEMPLATENAME.pdf
I want after name to add _COMPANY_NAME.pdf
so at tend i want to have for example
20200121_TEST_LION LLC.pdf
I managed to add the date at the beginning. I just can not figure out how to add the company name.
Try using $billing_account_name
it did not work
i generate from module accounts and from module contacts
it use bean(module)dir and then if module is accounts i must take the account name…
i get the account id with bean but in last stage i can not print the account name instead of account id
