Outbound Email - TLS stopped working


I have a CRM that is connected to a Exchange 2019 server that supports only TLSv1.2 & 1.3 for email connectivity.

Up until the last couple of days the use of TLS has stopped working from the CRM, now I see the following:

“An email error occurred:SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.”

Where is the TLS/SSL version specified that controls the outbound email, is it in the code, Apache or PHP?

Steve - I believe I am having the same issues. It looks like one of the latest windows updates completely disabled TLS 1.2 from the list of allowed cert protocols. Our mail server is not Exchange but pulls from the windows settings by default. - Take a look at my post to see if anything looks similar to your issue. We are looking through the PHP code to see what it would take to patch, and allow for TLS 1.3.
