Operations with fields on pdf letter

Hi -

Does anybody know how to sum or multiply fields within pdf formats? For example: I’d like to multiply by 12 the lead opportunity amount:

[center]$leads_opportunity_amount * 12[/center]

Is that possible? If yes, how can I do it?
