i don’t receive emails on task creation how can i enable notifying me when assigned to task
In your user profile you can check “notify on assignment”
This also depends on having your system email setup.
yes its checked and it works for rest of modules and just discovered it works when assigning not creation how to make it send on creation

what version of SuiteCRM do you have?
I’ve just tested leads and tasks - assigned each one directly on create / before save and each one first save, then assign.
I’ve received all 4 emails as expected.
However, as a workaround, you can always build a workflow to send a notification that way. I’ve been doing this in multiple projects, where “special notifications” are required.
