Hi.
We’re attempting a fresh rebuild going fro SuiteCRM 7 to SuiteCRM 8, and having issues with the notes functionality: New notes created using the “Create Note or Attachment” are not showing in the history list (Where expected).
The note is being correctly created in the database, with the correct parent ID attached to the account. In addition, when I log all queries happening on the server, I can’t see anything suggesting the history tab is even trying to access the notes table.
This is a full fresh clean build, so I’d expect this to just be working out of the box, suggesting I’m either misunderstanding something (Does this work differently in 8 compared with 7), or am I missing a step?

which version are you using?
I’ve just tried it on 8.9 and it’s working, just as you described / expected here:
- Open an account
- Create a note via the subpanel history
- See the note in history and the timeline

If that doesn’t work in your installation, let’s try to find out what’s different in your setup.
What server setup do you use? What versions? Is everything else work? Do you have any customizations?

We can see the button on both cases, Fresh suiteCRM 8.9 installation and also migrated to 8.9 from 7.x. The data also appears correctly. Please share more details and the steps you used so that it provides a better picture.
