I am facing many errors while working on suitecrm, and I dont know the solutions, I searched many times in Google and suite forums but didn’t got any perfect reply. So again I am posting
My Problem I cant configure outbound email settings, from admin panel. But in my localhost it is working fine but once I edit that it is not sending any test emails and not able to send emails from email wizard.
Please help me in this, I am afraid of losing my client
Are you specifying the correct email credentials? Can you provide screen shots of the setup? If the system sends test emails locally, it would suggest your email credentials for the mail server are incorrect, or there is a port/security problem blocking the sending of emails/configuration in SuiteCRM.
I am having the same issue with the SuiteCRM install version 7.1.3. I also have a SugarCRM site on the same server and with the same settings. But, in SuiteCRM it just fails to send Test email.
I do not see any response to this issue raised by other people. Was this issue resolved? Please respond.
This is a reported bug in SuiteCRM (I don’t know if it has been solved in the latest instance). Every time you open the Email Settings page in the Admin Panel, it resets the password to blank, so to send a test email you have to first always enter the password.
