I am looking for some pointers please.
Uploaded and ran install start screen. Set dirs: cache, custom, modules, upload to 766
Also set config_overide.php to 766. Hit NEXT on the Install entry screen.
Then nothing… blank screen… what can I possibly have done wrong?
All help appreciated.

Permission wise cache custom modules themes data upload config_override.php should all be 775 and the rest of the files/directories should be 755. Also all should be owned by the same user apache runs under.
If that’s the case then check both suitecrm.log and the apache log for errors and post back, as that will give us a clue to what’s going wrong.
