New case default state is 'Closed' and can't chang

Hello again.

All my new cases have by default state ‘Closed’.

I tried changing it from studio but after saving and opening the field properties again it was unchanged.

I also edited the file
/var/www/suitecrmdemo/custom/modules/Cases/Ext/Vardefs/vardefs.ext.php

and changed there the default State but mysteriously after some minutes I checked again and it was changed again to ‘Closed’.

How can this happen?
