Module Builder in 7.1.1

Anybody else notice you can’t create modules in the module builder after upgrade?

At the point you choose the module template and hit save, it never saves and won’t create a module. Any ideas?

This is probably a permissions issue.

Check your permissions and try again … please update us with your progress.

Permissions are fine. See my post (http://www.suitecrm.com/forum/installation-upgrade-help/1007-windows-and-iis-permissions-issues-suggested-fix-for-anyone-using-this-platform) that explains to the rest of your Windows Audience what their permissions need to be since this became a HUGE issue with the release of 7.1.1

Any other suggestions?

Run it on a proper grown up operating system? :cheer: :cheer:

Thats not only unprofessional, but unhelpful. Since Sales Agility is behind SuiteCRM, and I purchased it from you originally, and have been a customer of Advanced open sales for years, I would expect answers to the question at hand, not digs about Microsofts operating system, browsers, etc. simply because they aren’t open source or you don’t agree with their platform. As published in the documentation, SuiteCRM is designed (as sugar was) to run on the Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, MSSQL environment.

With respect, Can you please shed some light on my original question and provide some assistance?

Thank you

I was actually considering buying a support license for SuiteCRM until I saw this inappropriately snarky comment from the SalesAgility staff. This is definitely not a good omen for a company that intends to make its money by providing support.

Hi dgreene,

When you click save, can you ensure you have the console open(Ctrl+Shift+K in Firefox or Ctrl+Shift+J in Chrome) and look for any 500 errors/JavaScript errors?

Thanks,

Will.

Please excuse Greg’s humour. We all try to.
