Missing check box from Contact List

Hi everyone, I have a new installation and it appears that some of the functionality is missing. Does anyone know how I can re-instate the checkboxes which used to appear next to the contacts, this was in the ‘Contact List’ to assign multiple contacts to a project in one go.

Which checkboxes? What version did you install?

Thanks for responding. I have version 8.6.2 installed. I have a project set up, when I open this and go down to ‘Contacts’ then hit ‘select’ a Contacts List window (pop up) shows up. I thought there used to be check boxes so that you can select more than one contact to add.

I checked v7.14 and v8.6, we don’t have checkboxes in that pop up list view of contact.

You probably remember the check-boxes from a List view, not from a subpanel…

List views are the main ones when you enter a module.

Subpanels are inside one record’s detail view, below, where you see related records from other modules. No checkboxes there…

Maybe you’re referring to the “link” filter pop-up view in the subpanels?
Common uses are:

  • Selecting contacts from within a company
  • Selecting locations from within an event
  • Selecting targets / leads / contacts from within a target list

Oh my, thank you so much. You are all correct, I was assuming that the check boxes would show in different modules. It’s a pity though, it would be great if this functionality was there.
