Mapping fields into custom modules on coversion?

Hi, so basically i have two questions;

  1. How to map fields records into custom modules when converting a lead? For example, right now by default i only get options for Accounts, Contacts & Opportunities etc. I want to add some custom modules into the list as well? Possible? How?

  2. On lead conversion a single field data will transfer into a single module only, for example if i add a field “First Name” both in “Opportunity” & “Contact”, on conversion the “First Name” data will only transfer to “Contact” only-- I want to transfer the “First Name” data into both modules i.e. “Opportunity” & “Contact”. How to achieve this?
