Login Problem

Hi there,

I’m facing some issues with SuiteCRM. I was trying to set up email settings of an user. Probably there was something wrong with inbound email settings or smt. Anyway I pressed “send” one time and gave an error saying contact your supervisor. I don’t know why but I pressed send button again before leaving the page. Nothing happened.

Then I wanted to go to settings but it logged me out. And baaam, I can’t login anymore with any of the users. Interesting thing is that I tried this case with Chrome. Then I tried Safari. I could login. Then I tried the same scenario, same result.Now I can’t login with Safari either.

I manually changed the admin password and settings from database. Nope.
I cleared browser cache and history, Nope
I restarted my computer, again no change.

What I don’t understand is, I can login to my crm with a browser I didn’t try to send email two times. If I do so I can never login again.

Any suggestions?

What is your SuiteCRM version? And PHP version?

Did you upgrade any of these recently?

Also, are you using the SuitePImproved theme? There were plenty of login problems with this theme after one of the SuiteCRM upgrades a while ago.

Actually I did download that theme today. Should I just remove it?

PHP Version: 7

That was the issue. I deleted Improved theme, now it is working.

Never thought It could cause this.

Yes, you should. It might be hard to do without the ability to log in, but there are ways, search these forums for “login disable SuitePImproved”

But I think that the Theme’s developer already released a compatible version, maybe you didn’t download the latest?

I downloaded the latest. They should release a new one I guess.
