LDAP and Default Groups for New Records not working

Hello together

I am setting up a proof of concept for my company and everything is working perfectly fine - except one thing.

I am authenticating against an LDAP-Server and checked the option ā€œAuto create userā€ within the LDAP configuration. Under ā€œSecurity Suite Settingsā€ I defined a Group to use for new records.

Well, the users are created upon first login, but they have no group set, so they can access the whole system. Thatā€™s not very cool :wink:

Has anybody a clue what is going wrong, did I miss something?

SuiteCRM 7.4
XAMPP under Windows Server 2008
PHP 5.3.5
MySQL 5.5.8
Apache 2.2.17
