KReporter Blank After install on both linux and windows

Hi Guys,

I have installed the latest SuiteCRM on both Windows and Linux, and each time when I install the KReporter module I am getting the blank screen like attached.

I know I must be doing something wrong, I just can’t for the life of me figure out what!

I have set all the rewrite permissions for the API, I have recursively set permissions on linux. I have no idea what is going on, can someone help?

DB and version
Web Server and version
Operating System

Additionally;

suitecrm,log and sugarcrm.log
webserver/php log
browser console log or displayed errors

Possibly:
description of how the issue appeared (for better understanding and precise steps to try to replicate it) and one or more screenshot(s)
Anything else that may be of help for a diagnosis (eg: custom code, moduels installed etc…)

Last note: This is a SuiteCRM Forum. I recommend that you first contact the developers of KReporter who should know better their product.

The problem ocurrs when try to run Kreports v4.0.
I go to ALL menu, and select Kreports. Then try to create a new report and only show (image 1), no error but no shows the interface to create the report.

DB and versiĂłn - 5.6.33-cll-lve - MySQL Community Server (GPL)
ISP: Godaddy
Web Server and versiĂłn Apache 2.4.23
Operating System: Hosting Linux con cPanel
Kreports - V4.0

I clean the files suitecrm,log and sugarcrm.log, kill all processes and login again.
But problem continue (image 1) , when try to create a new report the page still in blank.
Log files are empty.

The modules installed are only (image 2):
-Spanish (spain) v7.8.2.2
-KREST Core v2.5.2
-KReporter base Package v4.1.0
-Kreporter Core v4.1.0

I read that if you introduce this url http:///crm/KREST/ yoy can verify if KREST are running fine.

I obtain (image 3):

witch is correct.

I hope you can help.

Please check the web server / PHP logs and report back what you see at the same time the error occurred.

Do you get a blank page or a SuiteCRM page with nothing in the main panel (your first image). If this is the case please check also the browser console and report back.

Please note that I had already asked for these things.

I think you should do 1 more step to install KReporter.

Just go and execute Admin->Repair->Quick Repair and Rebuild in the end you should see SQL which needs to be run to create needed tables.

I am having the same issue here. Installed on SuiteCRM 7.9.4 on Linux based server (hosted by siteground).
Php 5.6

At first, I was unable to do anything - same blank page as your screenshot when trying to create a report, and mydomain/KREST/sysinfo was a blank page. Turned out permissions were not properly set, and that fixed most things (even the mobile app works!), but not the issue you have described.

I go to kreporter v4.0, click Create new Report, and my only choices are Save or Cancel.

Unfortunately I don’t have any information or possible fix, just want to make it aware that this is an issue with other SuiteCRM users as well. I’ve also checked the SpiceCRM forums, but their community is quite small still and not many suggestions there either. If I figure out a solution that works for me I’ll certainly post it here.
